To limit our sharing

  • You may limit our use or sharing of information about you for marketing purposes by calling 1-877-265-3729,  Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 8:30 pm Central Time and Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm  Central Time; or by stopping in at one of our locations.


Please note: If you are a new customer, we can begin sharing your information 30 days from the date we sent this notice. When you are no longer our customer, we continue to share your information as described in this notice. However, you can contact us at any time to limit our sharing.

State laws and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing.

Definitions
AffiliatesCompanies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.

Our affiliates include companies with a Northern Trust name; Financial companies such as the Northern Trust Company and Northern Trust Securities, Inc.
Non-affiliatesCompanies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial  companies.

Northern Trust does not share with non-affiliates so they can market to you.
Joint MarketingA formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you.

 

CALIFORNIA PRIVACY NOTICE

When it comes to your financial affairs, you expect a relationship built on privacy and integrity. That is why Northern Trust does not sell client information to other companies.

This notice outlines what we do to protect your personal information and describes how you can limit the sharing of this information. It is required to be sent to you annually by the California Financial Information Privacy Act in addition to the notice that provides information about your privacy rights under federal law. It is presented in the form prescribed by California law.

If you already have instructed us to limit our marketing use or to not share your information with other Northern Trust affiliates or with companies with which we have joint marketing agreements, you do not need to do anything. We will continue to honor your request.
